A good suit is an investment in shape. These five habits keep that shape for years.
1. Rest it between wears
Wool needs a day to recover. Rotate two suits rather than wearing one daily.
2. Hang it on the right hanger
Broad, shaped shoulders — never wire. The hanger should mirror your own shoulders.
3. Brush, don’t wash
A clothes brush after each wear removes dust and lint that dulls the cloth. Clean only when needed.
4. Steam, don’t iron
Steam relaxes creases without shine. When it needs a proper finish, our steam ironing presses on forms.
5. Dry clean twice a season, not twice a month
Over-cleaning thins fine wool. Spot-treat marks and send it to suit dry cleaning when it truly needs it.
